This box is made of solids in Catia V5. It should protect important electronics while at the same time being able to easily be detached from its mount when desired. It must also be firmly seated when placed in a moving vehicle - all this in a blind space (under the glove compartment in this case).

 

The metal bracket can slide sideways and has double magnets integrated. All parts are designed to touch and sit together with minimal margin where needed. Some renders made in Vred shows the top as transparent when it is assembled to show the assembly more clearly.
